This application makes managing my contacts and integrating them with my calendar (also by BusyMac) super easy. The tagging tools as well as support for a range of categories and discoverable relationships between entries made it possible for me to make my address book into something more useful than a list of e-mail addresses, snail mail addresses and phone numbers. The only thing I wish were stronger here were the support for AppleScript. They claim sandboxing is the problem, but surely there’s a way to do something more powerful while staying within those limitations. Creating new lists (or groups) manually can be a pain, and being able to automate the process without resorting to their (for programmers only) URL handler scheme would be great. Barring more scripting support, making the URL handler more robust would be welcome.

Busy Contacts has allowed to organize my 1000+ contacts in a management manner. I like the way you can color organize and the abiltiy to merge contacts from differenct sources. I also love how it shows you past interactions you’ve had with each contant.
